Through his world-wide experiences as a model, his interest and passion for clothing grew, and in 2000, it resulted in the start up of his own menswear line CICATA. Starting his Autumn 2004 collection. Rihito himself became the Creative Director of his brand in order to further express his own vision in the brand. He specifically places importance in his pursuit of the best marriage between design and fabric in order to create the perfect silhouette. Finest wools, silks and cotton are chosen and many times created for his products in Japan, Europe and India.
His clean and noble styles always have a touch of humor and charm, and they somewhat seem to be reflecting Rihito's personal style.
